The Z-Vibe Tailoring System.

African heritage, global luxury, future design — resolved into rules a new piece inherits automatically. Every product surface on this site reads the same modules this page reads, so what is written here is what ships.

Z hardware rules.

Z hardware marks and the garments they close
MarkWhere it is used
Z-signature buttonsOffice tailoring, blazers, shirting — front closure only.
Z zipper pullActive, technical shells, boots and any zipped entry.
Z cuff linkFormal shirting and ceremonial sleeves.
Z waist badgeTrousers, skirts and high-rise sets, worn at the left waistband.
Z belt hardwareBelted coats, wrap dresses and utility pieces.
Z claspBags, jewellery and small leather goods.
Z embroidered markKnitwear and soft pieces where metal would read heavy.
  • One mark per piece. A garment that already carries a Z waist badge does not also carry Z buttons.
  • Gold on dark cloth, brushed dark on ivory and sand cloth — never mixed finishes on one piece.
  • Discreet scale only: the mark is read at arm's length, never across a room. No oversized chest logo, ever.
  • The mark sits on a functional part — a closure, a pull, a waistband — never applied as decoration.

Bogolan palette families.

18 mudcloth families are held in tape. A piece is assigned one family from its slug and keeps it across every colourway — the heritage band is the constant, the cloth around it changes.

Naming & tagline conventions.

Register name
HOUSE · Z-VIBE <FAMILY> for a drop; the piece itself is <Word> <Word> <Garment> — e.g. Momentum Heritage Set.
Trademark families
Family names carry the ™ mark on first use (Z-ARCTIC™, Z-CHAIN™, Z-NAIL™); individual pieces do not.
Slug
Lowercase, hyphenated, no house prefix in the visible name: zv-parade-momentum-heritage-set.
SKU
Derived from the slug (ZV-MOMENTUM-HERITAGE-SET) and extended by colourway and size at variant level.
Tagline
One uplifting line, sentence case, ending in a full stop: "Rise into the room." Never a claim, never a price.
Subtitle
Material and heritage read: "Spike-Nail Winter Boots — Bogolan Edition". Em dash, no marketing adjectives.

What the house never ships.

  • Invented ratings, review counts, sales figures or certifications.
  • Guaranteed performance claims — engineering concepts are labelled as pending prototype and testing.
  • Full-width Bogolan overlays. Mudcloth is banded onto real tailoring zones: necks, cuffs, plackets, waistbands, side seams, shaft panels.
  • Duplicated gallery views to reach seven. Leave the slot ready for the asset instead.
