Presi-Sentinel Bed™ — Smart & Armoured Sleep System

No wood anywhere: a brushed-titanium and carbon-fibre chassis under a sculpted upholstered headboard. The bed lifts, tilts, rotates on a silent turntable and holds a zero-gravity position; it runs full-body massage programmes, raises a 77-inch OLED from the footboard at the touch of a button and answers to your voice. Protection escalates through four shield levels — Standby, Guard, Fortress and Sanctuary. Fortress raises the aramid-and-ceramic canopy in 1.8 seconds with NIJ IV ballistic rails from both sides. Sanctuary is the last resort: the mattress parts along a centre seam, the principal drops into the armoured tub beneath and the two halves zip closed overhead into a sealed capsule with four hours of filtered air, an emergency beacon and a 360° low-light and thermal camera feed. A digital control and biometric key sits in the headboard within reach of a sleeping hand — one palm arms, seals or wakes the entire house. Safety presets recall any configuration in one tap. Rolling-code digital keys, expiring guest access, biometric sleep sensors and circadian underlighting complete it. One narrow Bogolan mudcloth band on the runner.

    Premium hoodies, shirts and tracksuits: 3D puff embroidery in metallic gold thread, raised off the fabric so the emblem catches the light.

    Minimalist accent at the upper centre-back neck or right wrist, executed in high-frequency TPU printing for a durable rubberised texture.

    A separate piece of metallic gold leather or reflective vinyl cut and stitched onto the outer side panel with ultra-tight matching thread lines.

Story behind the design

The Bogolan story

The cloth

Bogolanfini begins as hand-woven cotton strip cloth, joined selvedge to selvedge before it ever meets the dye. It is dyed with a wolo bark tannin with iron-rich mud drawn from the Niger banks — the pattern is not printed on, it is drawn in mud and then the ground around it is lifted away. On this piece the mudcloth meets brushed aerospace titanium, carbon-fibre composite, aramid-ceramic armour panels, ivory performance upholstery, leather trim, 600tc silk duvet, bogolan mudcloth woven band.

The motif — Bamana star

The tape carries eight-point stars set in a measured grid. In the Bamana reading, Bamana star is orientation after dark — guidance and clear intent. Z-Vibe keeps the motif at heritage scale rather than shrinking it into a logo pattern, so the hand of the maker stays legible on the finished piece.

Why it sits where it sits

Mudcloth is placed on construction points, never scattered as decoration: crop neck band, left cuff, right cuff, front placket. These are the lines the eye already follows on this silhouette, so the cloth reads as structure — an edge, a facing, a seam — and holds its meaning at three metres and at arm's length alike.

The hand-work

Each length is block-matched panel to panel — the atelier discards any length where the repeat cannot be aligned. Tape width and motif repeat are cut to the size band, so a petite run and an extended run carry the same proportion rather than the same measurement.

Care · Air the piece after wear and store folded with the tape inside. Steam from the reverse — a hot iron directly on the mudcloth flattens the weave.
